BLACK AND WHITE COOKIES Nancy Baggett
250 g black chocolate 55 g butter 100 g sugar 2 medium eggs 210 g flour ½ c. Royal Coffee yeast 1 pinch salt 1 c. vanilla coffee powder icing sugar
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or in microwave. Add butter. Beat sugar and eggs until doubled in volume and acquire a pale tone. Add vanilla and mix with the chocolate and butter. Sift flour with baking powder and salt, and add to the mixture, without working too much, just until they are united. Put in refrigerator for 1 hour. Form small balls and go through powdered sugar until well covered, and put them in the baking something separate. Preheat oven to 170 ยบ C and bake for 10 min. until they crackle. They should be crispy outside and very soft inside. Cool on a wire rack.
