Last March marked the fifth (05) years since they were elected officials of the College of Engineers of Venezuela and their respective Regional Centres.
Since the period established by the Law Practice of Engineering, Architecture and Allied Professions set to period two (02) years of implementation of the Directives Elected to direct the destiny of the Guild, we can see that there is "overdraft" of three (03) years and to date no one knows for sure when it will be the call for new elections, in the meantime, particularly in Zulia, our guild consistent calls for action to rescue infrastructure CIDEZ facilities, expansion of the Social Benefits, decisive action to defend the jobs, living wages and opportunities for continuous improvement to the exercise of the profession through the signing of agreements with Universities and Institutions International.
For now, the presidents of professional societies have taken steps to claim from the Regional Assembly of Representatives the Regional Electoral Board and the Board of CIDEZ still in office to break dormancy and cause it to make our Guild Elections as soon as possible with new leadership and new challenges facing social, economic and technological focus on profit the unionized and the development of the country.
